I personally (Simona Vidican) joined this church a little over 20 years ago and under Vicky Jurca’s servant leadership, the women prayed together and served in many church and community events. Vicky has always had a gift for inspiring, encouraging, and organizing our women’s group.
Either we studied the Bible, or cooked meals for our sick brothers and sisters, or sent parcels to needy Romanian communities, or quickly rallied around brothers and sisters who went through difficult times, we always wanted to show Christ’s love through small acts of kindness.
Women’s ministry is not a separate ministry of our church but a conduit that supports and works in partnership with the youth or Sunday School ministries. Together we want to bring glory to God, share God’s love with a sinful, lost world, and encourage each other in our daily lives.
Our ministry is governed by three principles:
“Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” through group Bible study (2 Peter 3:18)
Support each other in our spiritual battles through fasting and prayer
Serve our families
Serve our families, our church, and our community with love and wisdom so that we “spread the aroma of the knowledge of Christ everywhere” (2 Corinthians 2:14)
